Asian Apprenticeship Award Success

The third annual Asian Apprenticeship Awards took place yesterday evening at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham and we are delighted to announce that we were successfully awarded the Construction Employer of the Year award.

Prior to the awards evening the judges described being "blown away" by the quality of the entries for the awards, so we are pleased to have been a winner in this category and a finalist in others amongst companies such as Morgan Sindall, Fortem, Morrisons, BT, JLR and the BBC.

The founder of the awards, Safaraz Ali, hopes that the awards will encourage more young British Asians to consider apprenticeships and more employers to provide opportunities to benefit from the skills that apprentices bring. The awards aim to celebrate and showcase the best of British Asian apprentices and the people that employ and train them.

We were finalists in the Large Employer of the Year category and one of our BSE student engineers, Vishaal Parma, was a finalist in the Construction Apprentice of the Year category.

This is yet another excellent achievement for our apprenticeships and apprentices.
