2030 Strategy Launch-26

Delivering even greater impact

As part of our Groupwide ‘Journey to 2030’ strategy, we have refreshed our Responsibility and Impact Strategy to reflect what matters most to our business, people and customers. It raises our ambitions, strengthens resilience and supports our competitive position.

A key focus is supporting the UK’s decarbonisation while continuing to operate responsibly. Built on strong foundations, our strategy provides a clear, simplified approach to delivering greater impact.

Our responsibility and impact strategy

Our Responsibility and Impact Strategy is a clear, focused framework for long-term sustainable growth, resilience and competitive advantage around three pillars. Anchored in our values of passion, integrity, responsibility and excellence it defines the impact we seek to deliver and the governance that underpins responsible, consistent delivery.

Each area is either a core focus of our Responsibility and Impact strategy or is managed through dedicated existing resources.

    Environmental

Our environmental priorities focus on building a more sustainable and resilient business through the development of a sustainable supply chain, pollution prevention initiatives, action towards net zero and climate change mitigation, and supporting the transition to electric vehicles.

  • Volunteering Cross Green Community Garden

    Social

Our social priorities centre on supporting people through initiatives that promote health and wellbeing, alongside investment in training, skills development and apprenticeship opportunities to help create a capable and future-ready workforce.

Our roadmap

Our roadmap sets out the key milestones and actions to deliver our Responsibility and Impact Strategy. It provides a clear line of sight from ambition to delivery, helping the Group stay focused on priorities that strengthen long-term resilience and value creation. Delivery of the strategy is a collective responsibility, with clear roles across the business to ensure meaningful and lasting positive impact for our people, communities and the environment.
