Manchester Airport TP2
Beyond the delivery of the mechanical and electrical works for Manchester Airport Terminal 2 and Pier 2, our involvement has created a lasting positive legacy, helping ensure that people and businesses across the region directly benefit from this major investment.
Working alongside our supply chain partners, including principal contractor Mace, we’ve been able to support local communities through a wide range of social value activities throughout the project.
Highlights include:
Raising and donating over £30,000 to charitable causes and local initiatives
Supporting 27 local community groups
Providing 58 weeks of work experience for young people
Delivering 24 STEM and educational activities in local schools
Contributing 800+ volunteer hours to environmental projects
Nurturing young talent through 2,500+ apprentice weeks.
Abigail Isherwood, Social Value Manager at Mace, said:
“NG Bailey has been a key contributor to delivering meaningful social value, meeting all targets and supporting the programme’s wider ambitions. Their collaborative approach and strong focus on apprenticeships, social enterprise spend, and research placements has had a real, lasting impact.”
