To mark International Women’s Day, colleagues from across the business came together at our London office for an inspiring and inclusive event focused on fairness, resilience, and shared learning.

We welcomed Anna Shephard as guest speaker. As Operations Director at OSM Ventilation & Hire, Anna shared insights into her career journey within a traditionally male-dominated industry, speaking candidly about the challenges she has faced, the resilience required to overcome them, and the lessons she has learned along the way.

During an engaging talk and Q&A session, Anna reflected on the importance of confidence, perseverance, and remaining authentic in leadership roles. She also spoke about the barriers women can still face in under-represented sectors, highlighting the importance of fairness, equal opportunities, and supportive workplace cultures.

One message in particular resonated strongly with colleagues in attendance: “You can do hard things.”

The session encouraged thoughtful discussion and brought together colleagues from across the business to share experiences, ask questions, and reflect on the role everyone plays in creating inclusive workplaces. It also demonstrated the value of cross-business collaboration and creating opportunities for honest, meaningful dialogue.
