Our Environmental Land Management service in our Freedom business has extensive experience in countryside management, habitat restoration, creation, and maintenance across the UK. We have successfully delivered a wide range of contracts for major clients including Yorkshire Water, EDF, Anglian Water, National Grid, SSEN, and GLP, among others. 

Our dedicated in-house team brings together Environmental Land Management (ELM) Consultants, Project Managers, Ecologists, Arboriculturists, and GIS Technicians, supported by a trusted network of specialist subcontractors who deliver both mechanical and hand-based project works. 

For several clients, we manage over 50,000 hectares of non-operational land, providing strategic land management, biodiversity enhancement, and environmental mitigation. Our work also includes improving public access, habitat creation, ecological surveys, and woodland management. 

Since 2015, we have consistently achieved the Biodiversity Benchmark across our clients’ landholdings, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to protecting and enhancing biodiversity. 

In addition, we deliver public safety improvements, land restoration, conservation grazing management, and a range of wider countryside management services. Our approach combines robust planning, effective stakeholder engagement, and rigorous quality control to deliver sustainable, high-quality outcomes that meet our clients’ evolving needs.
