Ethical and inclusive supply chain partnerships

By working closely together, we ensure social value is embedded at every stage of delivery

Engaging our supply chain
Emmaus Salford Volunteer Day

Creating lasting local benefit

We build strong, collaborative relationships with our supply chain partners to deliver meaningful social value at every stage of delivery. By working closely together, we strengthen partnerships, increase shared impact, and promote responsible business practices across our sector.

Our approach focuses on creating lasting local benefit by supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), voluntary and community sector organisations (VCSEs) and community-based suppliers. Through responsible procurement, expert business support, and targeted resource donations, we help local organisations grow, thrive, and contribute to stronger communities.

Driving science-based carbon action

Supply chain emissions are the construction sector’s biggest carbon challenge, which is why we set an SBTi-aligned ambition for 75% of our supply chain, by spend, to set science-based carbon targets. With 48% already engaged, we’re supporting suppliers through training, tools, and expert guidance to build capability, reduce carbon, and strengthen long-term resilience.

Our work in action

Our approach is focused on strengthening partnerships with our suppliers to increase shared impact and promote responsible business practices across our sector.
