Delivering retail therapy

​We’re taking a look through our centenary archives and shining the spotlight on our work in the retail sector.

We've helped create and maintain retail facilities from supermarkets to shopping centres across the country. In the late 90s we delivered new stores for ASDA, Tesco, and Sainsbury's and also several projects at Harrods including installing new HV power supplies, upgrading lighting, installing fire alarms and sprinkler systems.

The early millennium years saw us work on new stores for both John Lewis and Waitrose and in 2006, we helped fashion brand Primark deliver nine new stores in just nine months.

Today teams across our business continue to support the retail industry, creating and maintaining facilities including Apple stores in their Northern portfolio, McArthur Glen outlets including Cheshire Oaks, and retail space for MAPP. We’ve also worked with retail giant Next for an incredible 35 years and are currently supporting the creation of their new distribution centre at Elmsall.
