COVID-19 update

NG Bailey continues to follow Government advice in relation to COVID-19 in order to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our employees and colleagues. To this end, we have introduced a number of measures for our office and site-based colleagues.

As an engineering and infrastructure services company, we provide many critical support functions to public and private sector customers across the country. This involves some of our colleagues working at other organisations’ construction sites and locations.

In line with the current Government guidance on COVID-19, construction sites remain open; these are operating in line with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued on March 24, 2020 by the Construction Leadership Council and endorsed by Public Health England.

We also have a large number of key workers helping to ensure the continuity of vital services across essential infrastructure and utilities, including in healthcare, local government, defence, power, IT infrastructure and banking.

We are working closely with our customers and supply chain partners to establish how together we can support our employees and each other in providing the services that our country and industry need during these unprecedented times.

Where working from home isn’t possible we have implemented various measures to support these colleagues, in line with the official guidance on social distancing and hygiene.

For those travelling to work on public transport, we are encouraging the use of alternative modes of transport, where possible, and adjusting start and finish times to avoid peak commuter periods.

Our Crisis Management team continues to communicate daily to understand the situation and respond to any changes.

For those colleagues working on site or providing services to our customers, we thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.
