Awards shortlisted – cast your vote!

We are shortlisted in the UK Nuclear Skills Awards 2021 in the Community Award – Response to COVID-19 category which was introduced to recognise companies who supported the fight against the pandemic.

NG Bailey is a member of the National Skills Academy for Nuclear and through our involvement at Hinkley Point C, we have been working to develop the skills needed in the nuclear industry. 

Our shortlist in the upcoming awards is in recognition of our work on several NHS Nightingale Hospital projects. We were proud to support the fight against coronavirus by working collectively with key partners throughout the industry to support the creation of several Nightingale hospitals across the UK. Our teams, which included several apprentices, played a key role in the conversion of major facilities up and down the country – from exhibition centres to sports stadia – into working field hospitals.

All parts of the business pulled together to complete the works, with both our Services and Engineering teams working around the clock hard to deliver the projects within pressing deadlines. 

Our teams worked directly to deliver field hospitals in Manchester, Harrogate, Cardiff, Teesside and Bangor.
