Freedom's Professional Services business secures major route feasibility survey work

Freedom, an NG Bailey Group company, has secured a large package of survey works in Yorkshire as part of a route feasibility study for a major client.

The project, which is part of an ongoing close working partnership with a major customer, includes detailed topographical and underground utility surveys to form part of a large route feasibility study for future works.

Freedom’s specialist survey and inspections team, which forms part of its Professional Services business, will utilise their highly experienced surveyors to undertake the works. The team, who have over 20 years of industry experience between them, offer a wide range of services from topographical, utility and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys through to ground investigation and laser scanning.

Due to the complex nature and location of the works, the project is split over two phases with phase one already underway. Overall completion is expected in March 2021.

Martin Buckland, Managing Director, Professional Services said: “We’re pleased to be awarded this large and challenging specialist surveying project, the successful outcome of which will contribute significantly to the infrastructure of the local area.

“The award is testament to the trust our client has in our knowledge, experience and quality of work to deliver this important key infrastructure project.”
