Two of NG Bailey’s talented apprentices have been shortlisted at the first ever Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) National Awards.
Luke Stonehouse has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year and Building Services Engineer Apprentice of the Year and Sean Simpson has been shortlisted for Electrical Apprentice of the Year.
Luke and Sean were nominated following their success at last year’s BESA North East Regional Awards, where they both won awards in their respective categories.
The awards ceremony, which recognises apprentices and employers within the building services industry who have had outstanding achievements over the past year, will take place at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London as part of the BESA National Conference on 19th October.
Chris Catterick, Operations Director for North East, Yorkshire and Scotland commented: “I am delighted that Luke and Sean have both been recognised, this is a testament to their hard work and the dedication they’ve shown throughout their apprenticeships with NG Bailey.
"To win at the regional awards and now get through to the national awards is a great achievement for them both and for the engineering division. We’re proud to have them as part of the team”.
Congratulations to Luke and Sean, we wish them the best of luck for the awards ceremony.
