Last night, NG Bailey won the supplier and contractor excellence category at the Rail Business Awards. The awards, now in their 19th year, recognise and celebrate the best of the UK’s rail industry.
The judges’ citation on the night said: “All too often the NG Bailey Rail Division works out of sight of passengers on high-profile projects such as the redevelopments of London Bridge and Birmingham New Street stations. Particularly impressive have been its approach to modular off-site construction to minimise disruption, and its collaborative approach to delivering projects with passion, integrity and excellence.”
Lee Taylor, NG Bailey’s director of rail said: "We work in technically complex environments, including often overnight, on projects that are helping to transform the UK’s rail infrastructure. For the hard work and dedication of each and every person in our rail team to have been recognised for their excellence, makes me very proud. I thank everyone for working together to ultimately deliver the best results for our customers.”
The awards took place at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London last night and were hosted by the RT Hon Michael Portillo.
