Global partnership with Nokia unlocks 5G potential

The IT Services business of NG Bailey, the UK’s largest independent engineering and services business, has launched a new partnership with Infinigate and the multinational telecommunications giant Nokia to accelerate the adoption of 5G technology in the UK.

The partnership will see IT Services, opening a new 5G Lab at its headquarters in Leeds, to support the development and practical demonstration of bespoke solutions to support IT Services’ work in a variety of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, education, infrastructure.

This new facility will enable NG Bailey to further develop its unmatched technical expertise to be at the forefront of a technology which is transforming connectivity. This includes the development and deployment of 5G private wireless networks including Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) which will provide game-changing opportunities for the automation of manufacturing, logistics operations and ports.
