NG Bailey supports creation of new high school in Birmingham

We’re proud to be playing a key role in the creation of the new Prince Albert High School in Birmingham.

NG Bailey has been selected to install all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services at the brand new co-educational secondary school for 11-18 year olds due to open its door to pupils in 2021.

Prince Albert High School is sited in a four-acre site and will provide 4,103sqm of teaching spaces including 32 traditional classrooms and 27 specialist learning spaces. The building has been thoughtfully designed to provide bright and modern educational facilities and will include a new four-court sports hall with changing facilities which will be connected to the main school building along with an outdoor floodlit multi-use games area which will provide shared sports facilities for the local community.

NG Bailey is due to begin work on the site in August with installation work expected to be completed early in 2021 and handover due in early Summer. We will be using our Offsite Manufacture facility to produce electrical and plumbing modules and our IT Services team will install the structured cabling.
